Valentine's Day: Finding Chocolate in Its Capital

The first weekend.
And it's Valentine's Day!
The first ever Valentine's Day in the capital of chocolate.

It's so cold outside but the sound of the birds chirping and the bells from nearby church invite us to experience how is it like the Montois celebrating Valentine's Day and the Lunar New Year. And of course, we need to go out to buy the essential Valentine's product.. chocolat!

But.. we forgot, it's Sunday, and most shops are closed.
In a mission of finding any possible Valentine's products, we bumped into Kamil and his girlfriend Laurence in one street. So we asked for recommendations.

Sadly it's already past midday and the shop which Laurence pointed had just locked its door.
So we decided to just look around.

Mons is pretty much dead on Sunday.
No one's around.
It's just so quiet.
Guess we need to adjust with this Sunday habit.

Finally we're at the Grand Place.
We look around and found a nice looking café/ restaurant, Le Saint-Germain
The Valentine's Day display looked promising to us.

When we entered, we were confused.
We realized.. in its capital, there are different kind of chocolates.
Didn't got the idea what the woman tried to explain.

So we chose one beautiful package.
It's around 9 EUR.

The chocolate covered with marzipan.
I don't like the smell or how it tastes.
Too sweet for me.
So Prince Charming finished all and said they all taste the same.

In less than a week living in chocoland, I think we need to learn more about chocolates.
And it's gonna be so exciting.. yum!
