The Ducasse ritual is
composed of different episodes, each with their own meaning.
All these episodes thus one by the
other are in chronological order and unchangeable.
On Saturday, from 2.30-6 pm, the main objects of Lumeçon,
including the weapons and attributes as well as the
relics of Sainte Waudru are exposed in the collegiate church, shortly before the
dragon out of his 'cave' at the bottom of the ramp of the church.
At 6.15 pm the parade symbolically guided by
the President of the Procession to the courtyard of Hôtel de Ville, in order
to rehearse the Lumeçon scene.
