It’s
109 days until the opening ceremony of Mons 2015.
Few days before the Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo steps down, and back as the Mayor of Mons, I got invited for an
exclusive event, the launch of Mons 2015 program at the Lotto Mons Expo.
It’s not only like a rehearsal but also a sneak peek of what’s happening in the
opening day and during the year. Presented by the TEC buses, showing off
some of the highlights.
A double decker, just like in London.
A fashion show with silver ponchos.
A mini car, resembling the vehicle used
for Google to collect Street View.
A marching band.
A fanfare.
Dancing fingers.
Words spread.
The young people parade.. and we're all guessing.
