A fashion exhibition by Jean-Paul Lespagnard, Belgian
designer and artistic partner of Mons 2015.
The title of the event is taken from his
eponymous collection, showcased in Paris Fashion Week, and inspired by the
exuberance of life at Mexico's giant Mayan Riviera hotels, and his expression of an artificial paradise, a world steeped in euphoria, sin and freedom. He
introduces to visitors through a series of images that portray him dressed as a bee, symbolically flying
around tourist locations.
The exhibition explore his own image: quirky and socially
conscious. Introducing visitors to the designer's creative process as well.
During the visit, we can also have a look, behind the scenes when he designed
the silver poncho for the opening night of Mons 2015 and his workshops few
months ago in Mons.
