Sunday morning can be really busy with families having their breakfast here.
Seating options are the long communal table or small table for two.
We ordered the breakfast basket with assortment of organic breads and hot beverage.
They really have high quality breads, all taste very good! Smear the breads with jams and chocolate spreads placed on the table. Don't be shy to look around and which kind of pâte à tartiner other people have on their tables. You may ask them politely and bring it to your table. In the end of the day, if you wished to have this kind of yummy breakfast everyday, jams and chocolate spreads are available for purchase.
I haven't tried many of them, but the tarte au chocolat is the best so far (also ordered it for his birthday).
It's such a nice and hearty breakfast, even a bit pricey.
Altough I found the place was a bit cramped, but really like the ambience, the furniture and the friendly old couple who runs it.
*Months after our last visit, we met the couple at Les Grands Prés, and they still recognize us!
